Project “Central Baltic Zone for Small and Medium Size Companies”
 
On March 1st 2009 six partners from Estonia, Latvia, Sweden, and Finland, leaded by Tallinn Technology Park “Tehnopoli”, started a new project “Central Baltic Zone for Small and Medium Size Companies” (SMEDGE). The main objective of the project is to enlarge success chances for companies and reduce overall risk as well as help get through difficulties. During the project, a support model will be prepared to stimulate development of companies in other European countries; market researches will also take place, as well as consultations regarding market positioning and partner search issues. International events, trainings, seminars and exhibitions will also take place during the project. SMEDGE project is financed from the “European Regional Development Fund”.
 
Expected project results:
 
  • A service package for foreign markets that will help develop business in Estonia, Latvia, Sweden and Finland;
  • Consultations provided to 128 small and medium size companies;
  • New business partners in Central Baltic region countries for 135 companies;
  • Knowledge on business development in foreign markets given to 24 companies;
  • Seminars on culture management; workshops for 40 countries;
  • Works and projects of 6 companies presented to foreign market;
  • A training program for incubators and heads of technology (science) parks tried by 40 participants from 4 countries.

60 EUR/month package includes:
 
  • Coaching: choosing team, staff, experts and partners;

Additionally for 370 EUR:
 
  • Accommodation (30 nights);
  • City plan;
  • Public transportation card;
  • Mobile connection card.

  • Market entry consultations, initial partner search, etc;
  • Working place with internet access (4 h.);
  • Seminar rooms.
 
Additional for 1000 EUR:
 
  • “Skill Light” Market Research.
 
Package price 825 EUR:
 
  • Coaching: How to start a company, choosing experts, personnel, partners, etc (4 h);
  • Access to the local networks, networking events, park activites;
  • Address and postbox;
  • Meeting and seminar rooms;
  • Working place with internet access in Hotel apartment (40 h/4 nights).
 
Additional:
 
  • Additional coaching: Recruitment, university (research, resources, etc), programs & education.
 
Package price 850 EUR for one month:
 
  • Coaching: How to start a company, choosing experts, personnel, partners, etc (4 h.);
  • Access to the local networks, networking events, park acitivites;
  • Address and postbox  Comes with the office;
  • Meeting and seminar rooms (2 x 4 h.);
  • An office for your business, including furniture and access to common areas 10-12 sqm for 1 person.

  • Training and events;
  •  Aalto Start-Up Center assistant services (Included during working hours: Assistance by email or by phone. Receiving and sending letters/faxes);
  • Receptionist services (Included by Technopolis Ltd. during the opening hours);

Package price 36 EUR/month + VAT 23%*
  • Consultation and assistance from Aalto Start-Up Center Team, help to find contacts and networking services (Personal adviCE from assigned business advisor);
  • Furnished room in the 2nd floor by company’s own name, access to Aalto Start-Up Center premises 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (Access to kitchenette, well-equipped meeting rooms on 2nd floor, free use of copy machines and scanners, internet connection);
  • Visibility and Marketing, networking with other entrepreneurs  (Visibility in www.start-upcenter.fi pages, intranet www.suc.socialintra.com);
  • Training programs and events (Access to Aalto Start-Up Center’s training programs and events, and possibility to take part in partners’ events when invited);
  • Aalto Start-Up Center assistant services (Included during working hours: Assistance by email or by phone.  Receiving and sending letters/faxes.);
  • Receptionist services (Included by Technopolis Ltd. during the opening hours).
