StartupHighway is the new (if not the first) acceleration program to focus on the CEE region. The program's first round will be launched on September 15th in Vilnius, Lithuania. The 13-week start-up accelerator offers intensive one-on-one mentoring as well as pre-seed funding of up to €14,000 (€2,000 for the idea plus €3,000 for each founder) in exchange for a 10% share in the future company. Application period for the program is open until August 11th. Start-ups of all stages (from a very eraly stage to a profitable business) and all countries can apply to the program.

We kindly invite you to submit a paper for a conference „Business – Science – Government Partnership: Fostering Country‘s Competitiveness“ which will take place on 21st – 23rd of September, 2011 in International Business School at Vilnius University, Lithuania. The conference is co organized with EuroMed Research Business Institute (EMRBI), Lithuanian Business Confederation: ICC Lithuania, Lithuanian Institute of Public Administration, Northtown, Sunrise Valley and Work and Labor Research Institute.
The main set objective purpose of the conference is to promote partnership between science, business, government and non-governmental institutions trying to foster sustainable development and competitiveness of the country.
Scientists and practicians are encouraged to submit a paper for the conference. Although the conference focuses on applied presentations theoretical considerations are welcomed as well.
